Conclude NYAMA's 50th Anniversary Conference with a special behind-the-scenes experience led by former NYAMA President and Ithaca Tompkins International Airport Director, Major General (Ret.) Mike Hall.
Mike, a retired U.S. Air Force Major General and current Chairman of the Wings of Eagles Discovery Center, will personally guide attendees through this remarkable aviation museum and educational facility located just minutes from Watkins Glen in nearby Horseheads, New York. During this exclusive tour, participants will explore an extensive collection of historic aircraft, replicas, missiles, flight simulators, and interactive exhibits that celebrate the rich history of aviation. Attendees will also experience Mars Base Eagle, a unique hands-on exhibit that explores what life and exploration on Mars may look like in the future.
Throughout the tour, Mike will share fascinating stories about aviation history in New York State, including the Southern Tier's role as one of the nation's largest aircraft manufacturing centers and the many ways New Yorkers have contributed to the advancement of aviation and aerospace technology.
